Disco alter-ego.
We all love a dance, a bit of a shimmy. Even a sing-along in the privacy of the shower. Personally, I can't sing for toffee, and that doesn't stop me, and I'm probably considered a menace on the dance floor.
But what is it that flips our switch and makes us act this way.
Well, the 'Disco Series' set out to investigate this, put it into pictures, but somewhere down the line, I've become distracted, wandered off on a tangent, and ended up here. And that's the beauty of the vulnerability of losing yourself in the process. I've taken the biological, added it to the mechanical, doused it with a bit of spiritual and ignited it with the electrical, and ended up with something magical.
Well, I think it is, and that's good enough for me. The feel-good factor dispensed into a 60 x 60 cm square of pure joy that offers up the freedom to, dare I say it, dance like nobody is watching.
