Perry's intense lyrical narrative is born out of fervent bursts of creativity which seem to
engage in a continuing dialogue with the ominous echoes and liberating streams of consciousness that heralded the awakening of modernism.
Not least in this many layered dialogue is his innate sense of composition and rhythm, formally and chromatically, as well as on a psychological plane, inviting an intimate
experience wherein the viewer engages their senses and inner mechanisms of thought in order to feel their way through their personal labyrinth of the mind, to their own place of enlightenment.
